Project Overview
- Area: Portobello (EH15)

- Room: Family bathroom
- Duration: 6 days
- Style: Modern monochrome with matte black
The Brief
- Old-fashioned bathroom with a rarely-used bathtub taking up most of the floor space
- Electric shower over the bath was unreliable and low-pressure

- Customer wanted to remove the bath entirely and gain a proper walk-in shower

- Storage for toiletries without cluttering the space
What We Did

- Bath removed and replaced with a walk-in shower enclosure
- Crittall-style matte black shower screen with smoked glass panels
- Black slate-effect shower tray with centre waste
- Thermostatic matte black rainfall shower with adjustable handset
- White curved vanity unit with integrated basin and soft-close drawers
- Matte black waterfall basin tap
- Close-coupled WC with concealed fixings and matte black flush button
- LED backlit mirror with touch-activated lighting
- Anthracite flat panel heated towel rail
- White large-format wall tiles throughout
- Light grey LVT flooring — handles the movement in older subfloors
- Frosty privacy glass retained on existing window
- Full rubbish removal and site left spotless
★★★★★
“We hadn't used the bath in years — it just ate up all the space. Now we've got a gorgeous walk-in shower and the room actually feels twice the size. The black fixtures against the white tiles look amazing. Can't believe it only took six days.”Karen & Stuart W. Portobello (EH15)
